Your tasks

  • Create objective insights into our clients' end-user experience
  • Discover how to deploy Sentia's DEMs chain monitoring tool to your customers
  • Investigate complex issues within customers' IT environments and work on solutions to optimise them
  • Make essential contributions to the optimisation of our services and software
  • Managing stakeholders within the company that go from functional teams to the directors.

About the job

In the role of DEM Consultant you are responsible for the execution of our services. This includes providing advisory services based on our monitoring propisitions, loadtesting different applications (Yvalidate) as well as the technical maintaining of the tools themselves. You understand both the business and the technical challenges of our clients and can help them by providing insights and advice based on the outcomes of our services.

Within the Sentia DEM department we believe that end user happiness is the most important factor within IT as everything IT supports the end user and as consultant you will spread this message throughout the clients organization. You will be the vital link between the clients and the rest of Sentia organization by becoming a trusted advisor. As trusted advisor you listen, understand and advice the client on new projects and developments in the market. You translate these needs to the rest of your team and keep track of the delivery.

Capabilities

  • You have a well-rounded higher vocational education with specialisation in ICT, Information management
  • You have profound knowledge of IT and you can use this knowledge to maintain and improve our technical solutions at the client.
  • You have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and find it easy to make and maintain contact at various levels in organisations.
  • You are analytical and know how to get to the heart of the problem quickly
  • Fluent in English & Dutch both in writing and verbal
  • As a trusted advisor, you determine the course and vision within your expertise and clients
  • You keep an overview in a stressfull situation

Onboarding

Starting to work at Sentia, you will be assigned a buddy. Your buddy is a colleague who familiarizes you with your team, the systems, culture and way of working. You will also be introduced to the clients.

During the initial period, you will mostly be busy learning how we work. You will need to understand our standard of IaC coding, our deployment mechanisms and our operational processes. You will also work on preparing a number of releases, to learn our way of working, hands-on. Following that, you’ll also get to know all the customer systems, while participating in support and projects. In this way, you learn immediately about the environments used by your customers.

Luckily, we work with a clear process at Sentia and everything is clearly documented. You can also approach your colleagues with any questions you may have.
